Hariom All,

  Some of you have done an excellent job with the homework, but not everyone were able to complete the homework last time. We  had discussion about the homework in our last class, it might have given you a better idea.

 Where in we answered it is God in Rocks, Plants, Animals, Humans, Yakshas, Gandravas and DemiGods & DemiGod Chief Indra. Human life is superior of all of these forms of life because, one can attain God (Realize God in him — Self Realization) only in human life.

 We also discussed about Sat-Chit-Anand and discussed the meaning of it, in terms of rocks, plants, animals and humans. Explained that anand is different from the anand we get from material things like toys etc, which lasts for a short time.

Question 1:

  1.Elaborate in your own words on our above discussion:

     a) Why human life is superior and compare with rocks, plants, animals and Demi God chief (Indra)
     b) Explain Sat-Chit-Anand meaning with examples.
     c) Explain the cycle of life and rebirth, from our discussions we had in class on how this body disseminates into the five elements of natures, enters into various foods and based on our karma gets into mothers body and gets baked for 9 months (in human life) upside down to re-enter this world again, only to realize the God, while sincerely fulfilling our duties.
Question 2:

  2. In our earlier classes, there was a homework to write about Swami Vivekananda, where in everyone given some introduction  about Swami Vivekananda and stated he is a great Saint of India.

   Now do a detailed study on Swami Vivekananda and write an essay as to what is it that makes Swami Vivekananda so great and differentiates him from others. What is his teachings to the world? How can you adopt his teachings and put them into practise in your daily life at this young age.

Question 3: Surya namaskar

 3. Practise Surya namaskar at home along with the Gayatri Mantra as shown in the picture above. It is also animated well in the website here along with some other good things on this site: 

 We will ask each one of you to demo it in front of the class quickly.
